About MetroHeart
I started MetroHeart AED in 2024 because AEDs are extremely undervalued and not as widely available as they should be. As a practicing Paramedic, I have been up close and personal with the need and use of AEDs, seeing first-hand how important they can be in unexpected moments of need. With an AED on hand, and minimal training, a business stocked with an AED can be a much safer context for its employees, clients, and everyone that walks in the door. My hope is that your business will never need an AED, but will benefit from the peace of mind that comes with having this valuable equipment available and maintained on your property.

An Automated External Defibrillator is an electronic device that can diagnose arrhythmias in a person that has experienced sudden cardiac arrest. AEDs are not only for detecting cardiac arrest and dysfunctional heart rhythms, but can also defibrillate (applying electrical shock) a heart, aiming to return a person's heart back to a normal rhythm. In short, AEDs are an invaluable resource to have in unexpected and dire circumstances.
